2014 FESTIVAL ARCHIVE

yellow-texture-medium.png

Beverley Puppet Festival 2014 presented 25 companies across the festival weekend and for the first time including as many as six shows for adults. Showcasing puppetry as being for both adults and children is a key aim of the festival and so this larger adult programme was an important milestone. The festival was largely made possible by our primary national funder Arts Council England.

Although arguably the largest showcase of British puppetry in the world all in one place, the 2016 festival also included some incredible international artists in the programme, such as the fire-breathing dragon from Les Contes d'Asphaldt of Belgium.

The 2016 Education Project saw an interactive shadow theatre installation at Beverley Minster, created by Indigo Moon Theatre with Millers Day Centre users.
